About Us

School Vision

The vision of the Spencer Borden School is to work in conjunction with staff, students, parents and the general community to produce healthy, caring, lifelong learners.  Students will become proficient readers and writers, acquire an appreciation for the arts and sciences, and develop confidence and a sense of belonging.  All students will be held to the same high standards and will graduate from grade five with proficient or better grade level skills in all major subjects, regardless of their academic level when entering kindergarten.  Students will be prepared to continue their education, without remediation, to become successful, respectful, tolerant, ethical, productive and contributing members of an ever-changing world.
