Sports Boosters

Established over thirty years ago, the Durfee Sports Boosters is a parent organization whose mission is to support the athletic programs at Durfee High School. Each year, the Boosters organization raises funds for awards through the sale of refreshments at sporting events, raffles, and advertisements. Seasonal sports banquets are also hosted to honor all Durfee athletes. Annual dues are $10 and new members are always welcome.

The Sports Boosters meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm, except the month of September, in the Tradewinds Resturant at the high school, followed by the Durfee Parent Advisory Council (DPAC).

Durfee Sports Boosters is a great opportunity for parents of student/athletes to remain involved in their children's athletics. Also, athletes whose parents or guardians have worked at two sporting events each during their junior and senior year are eligible for a Durfee Sports Boosters Award. The number of awards and the amount of each shall be determined annually by the Awards Committee. The more hours volunteered increases the amount each award is worth.
